Pizzakaya is a favorite pizza spot that has been around for thirty years in Tokyo. That’s a decent run, and they’re still going strong. In a city where restaurants come and go overnight, Pizzakaya has been quietly doing its thing since before most of us even landed here, myself included. American-style pizza done right, a solid craft beer lineup, and a staff that speaks English.
They’ve got a wide selection of pizzas like the Taco pizza (which is my personal favorite, but I’ve always thought a little lettuce on top would take it to the next level, but maybe that’s just me
), Detroit-style pizzas, and a lineup of great bar food staples (such as their amazing Buffalo wings) to go alongside the craft beers. Easy night out with friends sorted. They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options, so nobody gets left behind on this one.
About a five-minute walk from Roppongi Station, so easy access.
Definitely a great spot to hit up with the family or friends and the staff are really friendly and accommodating so that’s always nice.
